Are there any age restrictions to enter the event?
There are no age restrictions for attendees. However, some of our programming may not be suitable for younger children. Our recommended minimum age is 10. Attendees under the age of 18 attending AlienCon without a registered parent or legal guardian must bring a signed and notarized permission form when they check in. Children under five may attend for free with a registered parent or guardian.

When will I receive my event credentials?
Event credentials (badges) for standard delivery orders purchased prior to October 19, 2018 will be shipped with a tracking number in late October. All tickets purchased together will be shipped in a single package to the delivery address listed on the order. For Will Call orders and all tickets purchased after October 19, 2018, you will need to pick up your badge at Will Call when you arrive at the event.
What do I need in order to check in?
If you are picking up your tickets at Will Call, you will need your printed confirmation email (with QR code) that you received upon purchasing. Your confirmation will be scanned at Will Call and exchanged for a badge and lanyard. Attendees under the age of 18, please see the FAQ on parental permission.
If you received your event credential in the mail, you must bring your credential with you and wear it at all times. You do not need to scan your ticket on-site, you may stop by a table at check-in to pick up a bag which will contain your AlienCon program book and printed copy of the schedule. Gold and Silver pass holders may pick up their tote bags at the Gold/Silver pass registration booth at any time during the event.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be charged a $40 replacement fee on-site if you lose, misplace, or forget your badge. You will not be permitted to attend the event without a badge.
Is it possible to change or cancel my ticket?
Tickets may be transferred or upgraded until October 19th. Please note that all sales are final. Additionally, while tickets can be transferred, if you purchase from another source, you risk buying a counterfeit or invalid ticket. AlienCon is not responsible for tickets purchased from unofficial sources. If you are looking to make changes to your ticket after October 19th, please email email@example.com.
Is AlienCon accessible to people with disabilities?
Absolutely! We strive to make our events accessible to all attendees. When you purchase your ticket, you will be prompted to give us more information about your specific needs so we can better tailor our services. We urge you to provide information about anything that you consider relevant, including (but not limited to) if you are hard of hearing, low-vision, have mobility impairments, or need a quiet place to rest during the convention.

How do I become a vendor?

How does seating in the MainStage work?
Seating in the MainStage is first-come, first-served for Bronze and Day Pass holders. There is guaranteed, preferred seating for all Silver and Gold Pass holders at the front of the hall.
Can I leave the event and return?
Once you’ve checked in to the event, you may leave the convention center throughout the day and return as you please. You must have your badge to access the AlienCon halls.
How do I participate in Add-On Experiences?
Add-On Experiences will be announced as talent is secured and announced. You will be able to purchase Add-Ons, including autographs and photo-ops through the Showclix ticket portal.
Will there be an opportunity for autographs and photos with guests?
Yes! Special guests want to meet as many attendees as possible, but unfortunately these opportunities are limited and constrained by time. Autograph and photograph experiences will be made available for purchase as talent is secured. Silver and Gold Pass holders receive a voucher for $30 to use toward the guest autograph and photograph of their choice.
I am a Gold or Silver pass holder, when will I receive my $30 autograph/photograph voucher?
Gold and Silver Pass holders receive a $30 voucher to redeem for autograph or photograph opportunities. This voucher will be emailed to the address on the ticket order on or before October 15, 2018. We strongly encourage you to use this voucher code online before the event, as sessions may reach capacity. If you are a gold or silver passholder and do not receive this voucher by October 15th, please contact email@example.com.
Is there an inclement weather policy?
The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions. In the case of extreme inclement weather which restricts travel for our audience, attendees with unused tickets will be permitted to apply the unused ticket amount ($USD) to a future event. This policy is outlined in the Terms and Conditions of the ticket.
